Jack Smith President. In 1976, Jack became the first person to skateboard across America, he has followed up with two more crossings in 1984 and 2003. He has also produced six World Slalom Skateboarding World Championships and the World Championship of Skater-X. Jack is currently the publisher of The Skateboarder’s Journal.

 

James Peters Vice President. Founder of PavedWave.org, the home of Long Distance Pump (LDP) Skateboarding. Strong advocate of Skating as endurance.

 

Luke Ayata  Secretary. Director of Operations for Fabrika Productions. A dedicated athlete and an underground filmmaker, Luke has been skating and documenting the longboarding scene in NYC since 1999. He is dedicated to help make distance skateboarding a recognized international sport.

 

Jonathan Strauss  Treasurer. Event Operations and Unorthodox Marketing Consultant, Creator of the Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon tour, strong advocate for organized racing.  In 2010, gathered the top Distance Skateboarders to create the International Distance Skateboard Association (The IDSA).

 

Michael Brooke – Media Liaison. Michael Brooke has been skateboarding for 36 years. He is the publisher of Concrete Wave Magazine.

 

Chris Yandall– Web/IT. 1975 National and World Slalom CBS Sportspectacular slalom champion. Started skateboarding in 1965 and currently skating downhill slalom and transition master division. Advocate of recreational distance skateboarding using both legs to push. Promoting longboarding for 50 year and older age groups. Skateboard lessons instructor working specifically with beginners.

 

Brian Davenport – International Liaison. Brian Davenport lives and works in New York City.  At 27 years old he is the executive producer of Push Culture News where he both reports on and participates in events.  Brian is a life long skateboarder who has taken his passion all over the world.

 

Gary Thoulouis – Director of Business Development & Strategy Consultant. Gary is an accomplished business consultant and marketing director having worked for several top entertainment and media companies and consulted on multi-sector start-up and distressed businesses.

 

Malakai Kingston – Malakai Kingston is acting content editor of Silverfish longboarding the largest skateboarding website on the internet. His writings as a Longboard Literati have seen publishing in many magazines and has authored many articles commenting on the sport and industry of longboarding.

Scott Goldblatt – Web Consultant. Scott has ten-plus years experience in the planning, design, and execution of search engine optimization, analytics, and e-commerce strategies. His extensive knowledge of front end and back end technologies keep the web operation running smoothly. He has national and international sports web publishing and broadcasting experience, and is a two-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist.
